Thank you to Air Phil Express – The Leading Promo Airline in the Country and Mindanaoan.com for giving me a chance to watch and enjoy Annebisyosa: No Other Concert in Cagayan de Oro.
Honestly, it was my first time to watch a concert and I was expecting a lot from the local production team. My fellow bloggers and I were very 30 minutes early at the venue anticipating that people would really go early to take the nearest spots to the stage. Apparently, they had all the seating arrangements done that postponed our expectations. (Don’t worry.)
It was nearly 9PM when they started but the artists pulled it up. On the positive note – Jon Santos opened the night with his undying spoofs to a few famous personalities in the country such as Merriam Defensor, Former President Erap Estrada and no less than Gov. Vilma Santos-Recto. I was really laughing out loud with his wit and jokes. Nevertheless, he kept everyone laughing all night long which was good while waiting for the Philippines Concert Princess. Luis Manzano also graced the stage with a duet with Anne Curtis and a dance number that caught the attention of the girls. He was really brave enough to sing live and dance at Limketkai Center Atrium. We all know they’re not singers but they really proved that they are certified entertainers. I’m sure that Lea Salonga will not do a duet with Anne but Rachelle Ann Go did which was fantastic.
Anne Curtis gave it all from her voice, to her every gap change customes, to her concert stunts and lastly it was fun and casual because it was like Showtime happening in Cagayan de Oro. Surely, it was an entertaining night. I had fun Air Phil Express and Mindanaoan.com. From the bottom of my heart, thank you very much. I do hope this will not be the last but the start of a lot of first time.
